Tempo Collective is a curated group of DJs and musical artists, united by a shared belief that the right music can change the way a room feels, the way a night moves, and the way an event is remembered. We’re building community through music.

Our Story

What started with one person and a love of music has grown into something bigger.

After years spent behind the decks at every kind of room imaginable, from corporate galas to community fundraisers to dancefloors that didn't stop until 3am, founder Karli (a.k.a. K Chedda) realized there was more to build than what one person could carry alone. The right DJ for one event isn't always the right DJ for the next, and the kind of care she wanted to bring to every booking deserved a bigger team.

Tempo Collective was built from that idea. A curated group of artists, each chosen for their craft, their character, and the way they show up for the people in front of them. Some come from years on the festival circuit. Some are wedding specialists. Some lead our kids events under Wackydoodle. All of them share a common standard for what makes an event feel right.

The collective model is the whole point. Every event has its own energy, its own crowd, its own arc, and no single person could ever be the right fit for all of them. By building Tempo as a collective, we can match the right artist to the right room every time, while holding to one shared way of doing things across the board.
